Poster for Technology & Engineering Education

I designed this poster while learning the principles of design. These principles can be categorized in several different ways. When I teach, I will start off with these main four:

• Balance - Equal distribution of weight
• Emphasis - The most important element should be most prominent
• Contrast - The visual difference between page elements
• Unity - How well elements of a piece of art fit together

While teaching the design principles and elements, my students will have a similar assignment to create an awareness poster illustrating their mastery of these concepts.
